`The Sam Wilson Memorial Bank was established in memory of Civitan Member Sam Wilson. The fund allows our organization to deliver, store and loan medical equipment to people in Smiths Falls and surrounding areas. This important service has been instrumental in providing relief to people who are healing from surgery or injury, people who have physical disabilities and people who are terminally ill. Those wishing to access this service are asked to contact us to place requests and discuss details.

Our medical equipment inventory continues to grow! Special thanks to Dr. Mark Czubak from Smiths Falls Chiropractic and Terry Wills from Will's Transfer for their generous donation of another storage trailer to give us more room to store equipment.
The Smiths Falls Civitan club also supports Canadian Blood Service by providing them with
a place to hold their clinic free of charge. They have a clinic every 2 or 3 months. This gives the residents of Smiths Falls residents a chance to take part in this very important cause without having to travel too far. As well, we provide the space, we help promote awareness of up-coming clinics and we
provide a hot meal for the staff to keep up their energy to get their very
important work done.
